Shannon Brown has been doing this since he’s been a Laker and it’s no surprise to see him in a highlight reel in the first preseason game this year. It’s gonna be a great year for lakers fans.
People have been talking about Diddy and Mase reuniting ever since an online video surfaced in which the Harlem MC said he was coming from a meeting with the Bad Boy head honcho. But a different reunion might be going down between Diddy and one of his other acts.”I would definitely love to do the next LOX album,” he told Mixtape Daily recently in Los Angeles. “I would love to collaborate with them. I think it’s important just to do. … I would look forward to it.”
Puff and the Warlocks together again? That would be big news for New York. The two factions were at odds for years before eventually patching things up. Jadakiss has openly discussed the possibilities in the past, but nothing has ever come out of it.
Now, with the Yonkers trio and Diddy both aligned under the Interscope umbrella, it sounds like things could be happening soon.
“We been talking about it,” Diddy revealed. “We have to sit down and have a real meeting about it.”
This is hands down one of the biggest forms of flip flopping that I’ve ever seen in my life. The fact that the Lox are even entertaining this offer by Puff is preposterous to say the least. After talks of throwing refrigerators, Let the Lox Go T-shirts, having 7 different lawyers, and wishing BIG was a live and they killed his ass, I don’t even understand how this is a thought let alone a discussion waiting to happen. Maybe I’m Lost. I don’t get it.

I’m glad to see Allen Iverson procure another job in the NBA. However, As a fan of Allen Iverson since Georgetown & someone who’s watched him his entire time in Philadelphia, I don’t think I’ve ever saw a more heart breaking series of pictures. It’s was bad enough seeing him leave and go to the Nuggets, but that was cool because I thought that maybe him and Carmello might be able to put it together for a championship run. Soon enough it was clear that it wouldn’t work with that team and he was traded to Detroit where he was vilified despite the fact he was in a position that didn’t fit him. For as lopsided as the media made the Chauncey Billups trade, Denver only one four more games. One of the reasons they were better was because Nene was healthy the whole year and didn’t have to worry about Camby taking bad shots all year. IT also helped that people like JR. Smith got better & Anthony Carter was no longer starting. Furthermore, the Nuggets didn’t draw the Spurs and the Lakers in the first round with Chauncey, they drew the Mavericks. AI & the Nuggets would have beaten the Mavs. Continue reading »
In Philly, We’d say Chris Brown’s ability to articulate, or lack there of is simply Drawlin’. I don’t know what to say about this….

NEW YORK — Former New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress pleaded guilty Thursday to a weapons charge and agreed to a two-year prison term for accidentally shooting himself at a Manhattan nightclub.
Burress pleaded guilty to one count of attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a lesser charge than he initially faced. Under a plea agreement, he agreed to a two-year prison sentence and two years of supervised release.
At the end of the day if you’ve been living somewhere for quite sometime you need to know the laws. We’ve all know about Sean Taylor’s situation so I can understand wanting to have a gun, but if you’re not a Felon there’s no excuse to not have a license, especially in NY where the gun laws are super strict. Shit, Prodigy got 3 1/2 years and he didn’t even shoot himself. I have sympathy for T.I’s situation because the death of his long time friend & personal assistant Philant in a shootout at his show would make anyone tool up, regardless if they’re a felon. You think T.I would have really had unregistered heat if he had a choice? T.I knew the consequences and did what he had to do based on his situation & I can respect it. Plaxico was just dumb.
“We are living in an imperfect world, where people expect us to be perfect.” – Marion Barry
Although Marion Barry became internationally known for his very public downfall, the story of his life before and after that event is less widely known. THE NINE LIVES OF MARION BARRY explores Barry’s improbable personal history though archival footage of him as a young activist in the ’60s and rising African-American political star in the ’70s, chronicling his resurgence on the D.C. political scene in 2004 with his most recent campaign. Directors and producers Dana Flor and Toby Oppenheimer received unparalleled first-hand access to Barry and his ex-wife Effi (who died in 2007), as well as to many others close to Barry throughout his life.
HBO Documentaries have consistently been on point like the tip of a hawk since before Marion Barry was smoking crack, I don’t expect this one to be any different. Looking forward to seeing the story of his life before his public downfall….still Chris Rock’s take on this rings through my head every time his name is mentioned……”How did that happen? Smoked crack, got his job back! What was the other guy on heroin? “Vote for me! Vote for me! Don’t vote for crack, vote for smack!”
