I got the chance to meet up with Capone-N-Noreaga the other day at the Heatholders building. We discussed various issues such as the rumor of Noreaga hitting Nas with a flower pot, Capone’s biggest regrets, Tragedy Khadafi and the current whereabouts of Animal Thug. I’m not a fan of editing video interviews anymore so I left this straight raw. Yall know how it’s goin’ down. Ha!
If You’re like me, you’ve been waiting on a new Reflection Eternal album since the first one dropped. To be honest Talib has never been the same since. If you’re like me you’ve also been waiting on a Jay Electronica album. Anyway Just Blaze & Jay Electronica were on Tony Touch’s show and they decided to play a bunch of joints & talk about up and coming projects as well as take phone calls. Hit the jump for more. Raekwon dropped by the HeatHolders record pool & Marketing Building in Philly right before doing a Video shoot with Beanie Sigel for a song off Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Raekwon definitely turned the Heatholders building upside down as everyone was in the building to support. Shouts to Kevin Storey, My Man Brock, 215 Magazine, Elliot Ness, DJ Omega (NBC 10), Ace McCloud, my man Alex from Uristocrat.com & everyone that came through.
Anyway, I had the chance to build with the older God on a number of different topics, which include his beef with Joe budden, Nas, OB4CLX2, Snow beach Jackets/pullovers, hoodies, Polo, The effect of 5 Percent Lessons on his music, Sunz of Man, his beef with The Notorious B.I.G & more.
After the jump there’s some bonus video footage with Raekwon discussing how Old Dirty Bastard was on the run in Philadelphia & still showed up to the Wu Tang show to perform. He also goes into how thorough of an individual ODB was and why no one can fuck with the Wu Tang Clan based on the size of their click. You can check my flickr for some photos of this . The Sneaker Pimps tour came to Philly Saturday August 8th at the Starlight Ballroom. There were lots of openers, too many to name, but most did there thing. Nonetheless, after hours of sitting through dozens of opening acts, The Clipse & J. Cole crushed it with their performances. After the show I got the chance to speak with The Clipse about the new album, the changes in the Clipse, the competitive nature of the clipse the state of the game, jerking & swag surfin….and then I got bum rushed by Malice for being reckless. lol, But yeah shouts out to the Clipse & Star Trak & The Whole Reup Gang. Free Roscoe P. The interview’s very raw because yeah, I didn’t do much editing. Look out for the Clipse Til The Casket Drops Coming Soon.
