I love DJ Premier, but he’s no match for DJ Scratch. They might need to put Jazzy Jeff or DJ Jaycee out there because this isn’t really fair. DJ Premier is dope, but we’ve seen Scratch do ridiculous sets like this. After watching that video of the EPMD Reunion Show it’s clear Scratch wasn’t even going in like he could.

Here are the new Portland Trailblazers uniforms, a Hardwood classic from the ’70s and a new “Rip City” jersey will be worn in honor of the Trail Blazers’ 40th anniversary year. Hopefully these are just alternate jerseys as their regular uniforms are one of the best in the league.

PhilaLive is a live performing arts event that combines several artistic disciplines including painting, poetry, singing, rapping, acting, dance and live instrumentation. Branded as “Your Thursday Night Alternative,” PhilaLive is an event that was created to fill the void of arts events held in North Philadelphia. It is our belief that the people of North Philadelphia are bored with the shallow social scene of college parties, bars and clubs every weekend, and that they desire events of substance that cultivate a creative environment.

Raekwon dropped by the HeatHolders record pool & Marketing Building in Philly right before doing a Video shoot with Beanie Sigel for a song off Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Raekwon definitely turned the Heatholders building upside down as everyone was in the building to support. Shouts to Kevin Storey, My Man Brock, 215 Magazine, Elliot Ness, DJ Omega (NBC 10), Ace McCloud, my man Alex from Uristocrat.com & everyone that came through.
Anyway, I had the chance to build with the older God on a number of different topics, which include his beef with Joe budden, Nas, OB4CLX2, Snow beach Jackets/pullovers, hoodies, Polo, The effect of 5 Percent Lessons on his music, Sunz of Man, his beef with The Notorious B.I.G & more.
After the jump there’s some bonus video footage with Raekwon discussing how Old Dirty Bastard was on the run in Philadelphia & still showed up to the Wu Tang show to perform. He also goes into how thorough of an individual ODB was and why no one can fuck with the Wu Tang Clan based on the size of their click. You can check my flickr for some photos of this . Definitely dope the see Fab do a video for this. It shows he’s actually getting away from just doing girl joints….Great look for him, especially with Jay actually coming out for the video.

James Brown was tough on him in this interview but Michael Vick definitely came out saying the right things. Can anyone find Marcus Vick though? I’d like to see him redeem himself as well.
